A Bit About Us
Welcome to Madeley Cricket Clubs new website. We are working really hard to add more and more sections, but it all takes time.
The Club was formed in 1855 which makes it one of the oldest Cricket Clubs in Shropshire and have been ECB Clubmark accredited for several years.
The club plays in the MSG Shropshire County Cricket League and has four Senior Sides, playing in the Premier Division, Division Four, Sunday Division One and Sunday Division Three.
We also have a thriving Youth Section with 13 and 15 year olds team playing Shropshire Junior Cricket League. We are also taking part in the ECB Allstars & Dynamos initiative to encourage younger children (5 to 11 year olds) to participate in the season.
The Club also has a Women's cricket team who play in The Shropshire Women's and Girls League, and are embarking on their Seventh consecutive season and are looking forward to the challenges ahead. A Ladies Netball Team is also being arranged.
The Club is not just for Cricket and Cricketers as we have a varied social side and run numerous green bowls teams .
The club run various social events throughout the year ranging from quizzes to disco's to live music and race nights.
The Clubhouse, is also available for private functions throughout the year, but must be booked my a member of Madeley C.C.
